🚀 Trailamo Is Live – A New Chapter for Outdoor Planning

Trailamo is finally here.

After months of late nights, slow progress, and learning as I go—this little amateur project is out in the wild. It’s not polished. It’s not funded. It’s running on shared hosting (so please be gentle). But it works. And if you’ve been looking for a clean, focused way to plan your outdoor adventures—Trailamo might be exactly what you need.

What is Trailamo?
Trailamo is a trail planner. Not a social network. Not a content feed. Just a quiet space to map, explore, and organize your routes in peace.

Why Trailamo?
Because FATMAP is gone, and a whole community of mountaineers, skiers and backcountry nerds got left behind. Trailamo is my response—built solo, with no budget, just passion. It’s not trying to be huge. It’s trying to be useful.

What you can do:

  • Draw freehand GPX routes over 3D terrain

  • Organize your files with folder hierarchies

  • Overlay live snow data, avalanche risk maps, slope angles, and more

  • 🎿 View ski piste maps, hiking paths, and classic topographic layers

  • Switch between various high-quality basemaps for different kinds of planning

Some real talk ⚠️:

  • This is a live beta

  • It’s running on slow shared hosting

  • I have no money behind it

  • There’s no sharing or social features—it’s purely for planning

That said, it’s already pretty capable. If there’s interest, I’d love to grow it into something even more powerful—maybe even with your help. I’m hoping to build a small community around it and scale up together.

See you out there.
